Upliftmen Projects Fundraising
There is power in the arts to create awareness, and to raise funds to support significant social issues.

This double-hand logo was thoughtfully created for Neurodiversity Week 2025 and embodies balance, unity, and transformation.

The two hands, one in yellow and the other in blue, symbolize our individuality—each of us bringing something unique to the world. Yet, when they come together, they form green, representing growth, harmony, and the idea that together, we become something greater than ourselves. It reflects how collaboration, understanding, and connection create something new, richer, and more meaningful. The Ensō, a revered Japanese symbol, is traditionally painted in a single, fluid brushstroke, forming an open circle. Its deliberate incompleteness reflects strength, focus, and the beauty of imperfection. More than just a shape, it serves as a reminder that wholeness isn't about perfection—it's about embracing the journey with openness and authenticity.
In order to increase a positive impact on the world, we have hosted Art Auctions that were a considerable success as thousands of Rands were raised, and proceeds supported have gone to various initiatives.
Auctions and fundraising efforts in 2016 & 2017 were in partnership with the American- and Argentinian Embassies, and proceeds supported underprivileged schools in townships surrounding Pretoria in Mamelodi with a positive impact. Functions were generously hosted by the Sheraton Hotel Pretoria and the Argentinian High Commissioner's Residence in Pretoria. Proceeds of the 2022 art auction went to the Cheetah Conservation & Research Centre. Louise also coordinated making 100 Ceramics Coil-pots glazed, fired, and filled with succulents as a Service-Learning Christmas drive for residents in a needy nursing home, Huis Silversig, Pretoria, 2021.
The collection of children's art, in printed card form, is sustainable for raising funds for our charitable initiative programs and has been in print since 2021. Louise is part of a Service Learning Team at The American International School of Johannesburg. Our team is committed to actively engaging and connecting with the local community through positive and meaningful interaction and positive change.
